Sunday Reset: Sunday Reset: Tarot, Tassels & Turtlenecks

Join us each week as we explore what’s shaping our world in beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and culture. Through the lens of our team, The Weekly R.E.P.O.R.T. is a curated reflection on what we’re reading, eating, purchasing, obsessing over, recommending, and treating ourselves to!

What We’re Reading This Week

Life of M, by Rachel Cusk

Rachel Cusk turns her cool, incisive gaze toward fame, beauty, and the strange distance between the life we see and the life someone is actually living. Life of M follows a writer observing a world shaped by image and access, moving through glamorous landscapes and asking quietly provocative questions about desire, identity, and what it means to really see another person.

Strangers, by Belle Burden

A beautifully rendered memoir about love, change, and the versions of ourselves that emerge when life takes an unexpected turn. Belle Burden looks back on a marriage she thought she knew, with candor, curiosity, and a sharp eye for the details we often miss when we’re living inside a story. Intimate without being heavy, Strangers is ultimately a book about perspective, and finding your way back to yourself.

What We’re Eating

Kinto, Philadelphia

A Taste of Georgia

For your next Sunday dinner, go somewhere that feels like a discovery. KINTO brings the warmth and generosity of Georgian dining to Fishtown, with a menu built around the dishes Georgia does best: pillowy khinkali, golden, cheese-filled khachapuri, and smoky mtsvadi fresh from the grill.

The setting is intimate and inviting, with a rustic feel that makes lingering over the table feel like part of the experience. Come hungry, order for the table, and settle in for a meal that’s equal parts comforting, vibrant, and completely transportive.

What We’re Purchasing

Biologique Recherche Serum Vivant

A targeted treatment for skin that’s prone to blemishes, excess oil, and post-breakout redness. Serum Vivant helps refine uneven texture and support a clearer, more balanced-looking complexion without leaving skin feeling stripped or overworked.

Soft Goat Boyfriend Turtleneck

The first hint of autumn is always welcome. This oversized chunky-knit turtleneck is made from 100% cashmere, giving the classic boyfriend silhouette an especially soft, luxurious feel. The kind of piece you’ll want close at hand once the evenings turn cooler, and the perfect first layer for the season ahead.

Sylvia Toledano Glo Tasseled Gold Earrings

Sylvia Toledano’s Paris-made jewelry draws on talismans and heirloom pieces, reinterpreted in textured, gilded brass with colorful semi-precious stones. The Glo earrings bring that sensibility to a more sculptural silhouette, pairing polished spherical studs with linked detailing and cascading gold tassels.

What We’re Obsessing Over

The Beauty Food Hiding in Your Pantry

Sardines may not have the polished reputation of a beauty supplement, but they’re surprisingly well suited to the job. Their omega-3 fatty acids help support the skin barrier and healthy-looking skin, while their protein provides amino acids needed for the structure of hair, skin, and nails. They also deliver vitamin B12, selenium, and vitamin D, nutrients involved in everything from normal cell function to maintaining healthy hair and skin.

The best part? They’re incredibly easy to work into a regular diet.. Try them on toasted sourdough with lemon and olive oil, over greens with herbs and a sharp vinaigrette, folded into pasta, or simply alongside tomatoes and crisp vegetables. Consider it one of the more delicious ways to add something genuinely nourishing to your plate.

What We’re Recommending

Morgan Library & Museum: Tarot, Reconsidered

Morgan Library & Museum: Tarot, Reconsidered
June 26–October 4, 2026

Forget what you think you know about tarot. At The Morgan, Tarot! Renaissance Symbols, Modern Visions looks at the cards through an art-historical lens, tracing their beginnings in fifteenth-century Italy as a courtly game before following their evolution into symbols of divination, mysticism, and artistic expression.

The exhibition brings together the Morgan’s Visconti-Sforza Tarot cards with works from Accademia Carrara in Bergamo, the first time the majority of this celebrated Renaissance deck will be shown together in North America. From Leonora Carrington and Remedios Varo to Niki de Saint Phalle and Chris Ofili, the show also explores the many ways artists have reimagined tarot’s imagery over the past century.

It’s a smart, unexpected afternoon for anyone interested in art, symbolism, or the stories we attach to images.

Treat

Meet The Vivant Reset Facial

August 25–31

A new treatment has arrived at Rescue Spa. The Vivant Reset Facial pairs Biologique Recherche expertise with Rescue Spa’s signature approach to give skin a focused dose of clarity, balance, and care.

The experience begins with a luxurious double cleanse and signature facial massage, followed by personalized Lotion P50, Masque Vivant with electrical current technology, and a finishing application of Sérum Vivant, the treatment’s star ingredient. Each step is designed to leave skin looking clearer, smoother, and more revitalized.

And because good skincare should extend beyond the treatment room, your esthetician will walk you through how to incorporate Sérum Vivant into your daily routine to help maintain a more balanced, healthy-looking complexion.
