love this - does what it claims
"Ive been trying to clear hormonal acne and the texture/redness/marks left over that started 1-2 yrs ago and this has been a key product in improving my skin. I have combo skin that is mildly sensitive. before i used this I broke out easily + daily and my skin looked a bit dehydrated and irritated. Someone at the rescue spa in nyc recommended this cream and gave me a sample. after just one night of use my skin was noticeably less red, less textured, and soft in the am. 3-4 months later of using this every night and my skin is dramatically improved! Im just refilling now and i have about a weeks worth left in case youre curious how long this will last. i should note i do also use azelaic acid and a benzyl peroxide wash as a mask, but i credit this moisturizer to keeping my texture smooth, minimizing post acne redness alongside the azelaic acid, improving overall quality of my skin (its less irritated looking and more even in tone/less red overall) and doing a great job moisturizing my combo skin without clogging pores. in the morning my skin feels velvety soft and hydrated. i dont wake up with an oily t zone nor do i feel any dryness. the product is a bit thicker than a gel style moisturizer but i did not find this to be an issue. consistent with many other BR products, this STINKS. I would never use this in the morning because of that. Its worth it imo and you definitely desensitize to the smell over time. its very mild to me now."
Terrible compared to the original creme placenta

My miracle cream
"I have post acne scars, hyper-pigmentation, and dehydrated facial skin. Started using Creme ISO-Placenta (free sample) and loved it the next morning after one use. I've been using for about 5 months now and noticed my scars and Hyper-pigmentation spots are fading and less noticeable. It's a miracle in the bottle for me."
Cause Breakout - Dissapointed with new formula
"The new formula is aweful. I had been using the old formula for a while and it kept my skin hydrated while didn’t cause breakout. Tried the new formula and it made my skin so oily, especially during summer months and I had bad breakout. It also didn’t hydrate my skin like the old one. Very disapointed in this change of formula!"
Not nearly as good as the original Creme Placenta
"Creme Placenta was my all time favorite moisturizer. It nourished my skin in a way no other has. I used it for years! I'm heartbroken it is discontinued, especially considering that this "reformulated" version is really nothing like the original placenta creme. It didn't have any negative effects on my skin, but it also didn't do what I had come to love about the old placenta creme--almost like food for the skin. Nourishing and balancing. Simply heartbroken by this. If anyone has found something that is a good substitute for the Creme Placenta, please share!!"
Disappointing
"I’m really disappointed they discontinued the original Crème Placenta. I have acne prone skin and this caused me to breakout. I loved the original. It had such a nice finish and was very calming. This new one is a totally different texture. These products are amazing and I love this brand but this is a no."
Love!
"I never tried the original placenta cream so I cannot speak to how this stands up to that but I LOVE Creme ISO Placenta! It’s unlike any cream I’ve tried, it’s very lightweight with a gel like texture but still feels weirdly nourishing. I’ve been using in tandem with iso placenta serum and they have smoothed and healed my skin like no other. I have a scar on my chin from childhood that I’ve come to love and accept as part of my face but in the month and a half I’ve been using the iso line it’s began to shrink! I wasn’t even expecting that. It’s also incredibly smoothing in a way I’ve never experienced before. I will say to see the best results from BR products use the line exclusively as no one product can work miracles alone and get a consultation from a professional first to get the best products for your skin and desired results. At this point in time I can’t see myself using any other products period."
