The Details
A true holiday icon, the Diptyque lantern draws inspiration from the silhouette of a pine tree and is crowned this year with a shower of golden stars.
Once the candle is lit, the lantern spins joyfully, casting dancing shadows across the room. A dynamic, luminous presence, stilled only when the last light fades.
Candle sold separately.
This lantern is specifically designed to be placed on a classic candle (190g).
It is sold alone, candles can be purchased separately.
Height : 15 cm.
Weight : 60 g.
HOW TO USE
Precautions for use: - Once the candle is lit, carefully place the lantern on top of the vessel. The heat from the flame will cause it to rotate. Rotation speed may vary (from slow to fast) depending on the amount of heat generated by the candle.
- To remove the lantern, extinguish the candle and allow it to cool for a few moments. Avoid touching the top of the lantern, as heat is more concentrated there.
- Keep candles and their accessories out of the reach of children and pets, and away from curtains and other flammable materials.
- When using the candle for the first time, allow it to burn for 2–3 hours, until the entire surface of the wax has melted. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures a more even burn.
- The wicks may produce a slight amount of smoke during the first burn.
- Trim the wick to 3–5 mm (1/8–1/4 in.) before each use to help prevent soot and reduce fire risk.
- Before extinguishing the candle, ensure the wick is upright and centred.
- Stop using the candle when 5 mm (1/4 in.) of wax remains. We recommend using a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame and avoid splattering hot wax.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Never place a burning candle in a draft.
- Never place a burning candle directly on a delicate surface (such as glass, wood, or marble).
- Always use a heat-resistant surface or a suitable candle base.
- Never move a burning or still-hot candle.
- It is recommended to air out the room after burning a candle.
