1. Apply the lighter shade to the high points of the face where natural light would typically hit, including the upper cheek area.
   
2. Apply the deeper shade along areas of natural shadow such as the cheekbones, hairline, and temples to create structure and dimension.
   
3. Blend thoroughly using the Blender II brush to achieve a seamless, bronzed finish with even color diffusion.
